SCHUMAN, J. Defendant’s dogs killed plaintiffs’ cat. The trial court found that defendant was negligent and awarded plaintiffs $1,000 in compensatory damages but denied plaintiffs’ claims for negligent infliction of emotional distress and loss of companionship.
