OPINION CARR, Justice. A jury convicted appellant, Thomas Fisher, of murdering his girlfriend, Barbara Baughman, by drowning her. The victim’s body, allegedly dismembered and disposed of, was never entirely recovered. The trial court assessed punishment at imprisonment for thirty years.
